This tutorial explains how to put delay between the trainer backsprite movimentation when it has only one frame and the ball throw animation, this way when you have only one frame in backsprite the ball won't looks like being throwed from the trainer head. In PokeBattle_ActualScene, after line 'delay=1' put:

delay=20 if (battlerindex==0 && @sprites["player"] &&
    @sprites["player"].bitmap.height>=@sprites["player"].bitmap.width) ||
(battlerindex==2 && @sprites["playerB"] &&
    @sprites["playerB"].bitmap.height>=@sprites["playerB"].bitmap.width)
