|Resizing the screen|

This tutorial will guide you through changing the maximum screen size.
Also note that graphics will not be centered, I am currently trying to figure out what to edit to reposition the graphics. I will make another tutorial or amend this one when I do figure it out. Alternatively, you could edit the gfx to accommodate your new screen dimensions. This in theory seems simpler than editing a script. I also believe the script that needs to be edited to center the party Pokémon is the PokemonScreen script, but I am not 100% sure, and I do not know what part needs to be edited at this time.
Ok, so you want to use larger sprites in Pokémon Essentials? I know I did. The default value in Pokémon Essentials is 480x320, which is perfect for R/S/E/FR/LG sprites, but what if you want DPPt/BW sprites and don't want them to appear choppy? It's as simple as changing the dimensions.
Click the scripts tab in RPG Maker XP. I took the liberty of showing you which tab is the scripts tab.
Next you want to scroll through the scripts until you locate the SpriteResizer script.
I marked it for you so you could find it easier. It is right below Audio and above Window in the script database.
After you have chosen the following script, you should have something that looks like this next image.
This is the script we are editing. To resize your window to allow larger sprites, change the values in the red box that I have indicated.
Note that all menu graphics, such as the party screen, Bag, Pokédex and Pokégear along with the other menu screen graphics, will now have to be resized and repositioned to fit your new dimensions. There is no simple way to reposition all graphics found in the game; this has to be done manually.
