I've made a fair chunk of contributions to the wiki that I am very happy with. The External Editor page is solid, if not particularly flashy. I've written a couple of tutorials of varying complexity. I've poked around in the scripts, I've edited maps (badly), I've edited events, and I've made my own sprites (by ruthlessly butchering existing ones). It's time to turn it up to 11.
I'm going to re-implement Pokemon Fire Red, from Pallet town to Pewter City. Every frame, every item, every trainer, every line of dialog. Implementing a portion of one of the core games is the best tutorial I could possibly conceive.

I'm working on a handful of guides designed for brand new users. Pokemon Essentials is a fantastically powerful toolset, but it is really lacking basic documentation. These guides will include walkthroughs of all of the functionality of the Editor, which should be enough help to get people up and running even if they don't necessarily know how to use RMXP.
After I have finished documenting the functionality of the Editor, I plan to do a full walkthrough of creating a small region. This will likely be a clone of Fire Red, running from Pallet town to Pewter City. That should give me enough room to experiment with all of the game's basic features, and should give enough specific examples to round out any gaps in the Editor documentation.
